EXXON

The Exxon trucks were part of the Champ of the Road series from 1976 to 1982.

Introduced in 1976 with a Peterbilt cabover tractor, this was one of the most common models in this series.

Soon after it's introduction, the Exxon tanker went solo, appearing in individual boxes, so one could purchase the trailer only.

The molds for this trailer were passed on to Road Champs in 1982. They were then sold to Yatming, who still uses a slightly modified version of this mold to produce these trailers today.

Although quality has suffered over the years, the Exxon name has stayed on the side of these tankers longer than any other carrier name in this series.
