Local Teen Files Bankruptcy Over Stuffed Friends
Y-c--p-, California. Fourteen-year-old resident, Leanna Olsen, goes bankrupt after buying one too many stuffed animals from a San Deigo-based store. The teen went into Build-A-Bear Workshop on Friars Ave. on Saturday with only one thing in mind: buying a teddy bear. Well, she went a little over her limit. After spending over 6 hours in the store, Olsen emerged with her wallet considerably lighter. A total of $37,890 was spent on the stuffed toys and their clothes.
"It was remarkable!" says employee Joseph Shmoe. "Nobody has ever spent that much here before. I've never seen one person more excited about a teddy bear before. I guess it must be addictive."
Olsen filed for bankruptcy later that very same day. But, because of her young age, she will not be charged. She must serve 400 hours of communtity service, and has been banned from the store.
Little Man Seen Stealing Pot of Gold
Y-c--p-, California. A man about only 2 feet tall was seen yesterday outside of Felton High School 9th Grade Campus at the end of the rainbow on Monday. He was trying to steal the pot of gold that is legend to be there. He was apparently causing some chaos with the local athorities.
"The man, who calls himself Riley O'Riley, was starting to get violent with the deputies on duty," says Sheriff Ima Pigg. She continues, "He threatened to blast them into pieces with a wand." When asked what happend after that, the only response that Pigg would give was, "We are not sure at this time. We can only find pieces and small parts of our deputies. We believe that they have been, well... um... no comment."
O'Riley, later confirmed as Coach Patrick Reynolds, is being charged with conspiracy, theft, and intent to kill.
Pepsi® Can Wins Beauty Contest
R-dl-nds, California. A Pepsi® can won a beauty contest this Friday. The can was competing with over 30 professional models, including Tyra Banks, Cindy Crawford, and Nikki Taylor. Many onlookers were shocked. That is all we know at this time.
When life gives you lemons, you don't always have to make lemonade. Here are a few face and hair tips for the cheap and desperate amongst you. Just remember that lemons are generally best on oily skin.
Bleaching agent: Mix equal drops of lemon juice and milk. Apply on your face every night for 5 mins. and wash off. This is supposed to make your face paler.
Natural cleanser: Mix equal drops of lemon juice and water. Apply on your face with cotton balls to clean your skin as a cleansing lotion (like toner).
Applying lemon juice should help remove black heads from the face. (I could use that about now.)
Add 2-3 drops of lemon juice to some icy cold milk and soak cotton pads in this mixture. Apply on your eyes and relax for 15 minutes. Just don't open your eyes or eat the pads afterwards. That's just gross.
Here's something that helps oily hair: You can also use lemons to put streaks in your hair, so watch the clock. Be sure to wash your hair daily. Mix lemon juice, a few drops of vinegar, and one half cup of good old H2O. Apply on your hair and scalp of the head. Wash off after 1/2 hour. You should feel the difference.
Stiffer nails for you softy freaks (alas, like me): Rub a piece of cut lemon on your clean, nail-polish-free nails. Nails become stiff, shiny and hard. They shouldn't break easily.
