This is my tuba, there are many like it but this one is mine. My tuba is my best friend, it is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my tuba is useless. Without my tuba I am useless. I must play my tuba true. I must march straighter than the rest of the band who is trying to be like me. I will! Before God I swear this creed. My tuba and I are the defenders of the section. We are the saviors of the beat. So be it. Until there is no marching.........Amen!
