Chachi and the 06 Mustang

Here are more pics of the '06 Mustang. I just added a JLT II CAI, BamaChips SCT tune, Steeda cmrc delete plates, Steeda pulleys, and JBA titanium coated longtubes w/ off-road H-pipe, Prothane motor mounts, 4.10 gears, & PSI Performance aluminum driveshaft. My time and money will be going into this car now, rather than Chachi.
So far the car has ran a best of 12.77 @ 108.84 mph w/ 1.89 60' at Mason-Dixon Dragway. The best 1/8 mile time in the car was an 8.18 @ 87.33 mph w/ 1.85 60' at Mason-Dixon. That would've definitely been my best 1/4-mile pass, but I missed 4th gear just before the 1,000' mark.

Here's some photos of the '87 Mustang since I've had it. I got "Chachi" just a couple weeks before I turned 17 years old. I've had him ever since. It was my first car, and I doubt I'll ever get rid of it. Also below are the mods I've done to the Mustang since '96. So far my best times at the track are an 8.44 @ 84.6mph at Kanawha Valley Dragway w/ a 1.96 60' time; and a 13.21 @ 105.1mph w/ a 2.04 60' time at Rockingham in 104* weather.

Engine/Drivetrain
..
The original long block went 260,000 before I finally rebuilt it. It ran a best of 8.92 @ 79 mph on the stock heads & cam. Around September 2003 I finally built my first engine with Snowbird with my bare hands and I am very proud of what I've done! I rebuilt the old Ford 5.0 using the original rotating assembly, threw on some GT-40 iron heads and a Trick Flow Stage 1 cam and the car ran 8.67's at 82.5 mph with no tuning the first time at the track! I later popped a head gasket so I bought some AFR 165 heads. Changing nothing else but the heads, Chachi instantly went to an 8.47 at 83.8 mph the first night out!
