Renee's TributeMay 1, 2008 I can't believe it will be a year on June 15, 2008 since Sherri Martel passed away. I still have a hard time believing she is gone. She was my second favorite lady in Pro Wrestling after Elizabeth Hulette. I was such a fan when those two wonderful ladies had their famous feud in the late 80's and early 90's and who knew that they were close friends. I have two interviews that I have watched lately where Sherri talks about her friendship with Elizabeth and you get to see a side of Sherri that none of her fans really got to see her real self. She was one of the best and I am glad she lived to see her induction into The WWE Hall of Fame, because she really deserved the honor and it was her shining moment. I never got to meet this wonderful lady in person, but I had a dream about her recently. that I never have told anyone about only she wasn't in it her spirit was. It was really weird, because it seemed like she was really there if that makes any sense. I for one will continue to remember Sherri and I thank her for all the years she entertained me in Pro Wrestling and she will always be loved and remembered by her fans! Designed by
