The Land of Algoron Chronicles

Official Website!

(Under Construction)

____________________________________________________________________

After great consideration, I have decided to continue my work on The Land of Mystics Chronicles, now re-named as "The Land of Algoron Chronicles". Most of the work completed after Jan 2003 is lost, but this might be a chance to better the great story as a whole. I have put this temporary website up to allow access to the primitive documents for humor mostly. Welcome.

Updates:

~~~~20 May 2004 - After great consideration I have decided to change the name of my chronicles from "The Land of Mystics Chronicles" to "The Land of Algoron Chronicles". I have discovered more and more about "mystics" that I really don't like and so I don't think my great work should be names after that. The name "Algoron" comes from "The Candy Star" and is a good honorable name. I think I am finally moving ahead in new story writing. Updating of the new name will continue to be done on the website over the next couple of days.
~~~~05 March 2004 - Work on the chronicles is going well. I have made a lot of progress on "The Shades of Mystics" and I have also begun work on a new version of "The Cobbler". Not much will change, but a lot will be filled in. I really noticed a lot of "home town" information for Corren in Gandor just never made it into the story. I also have a lot of new plans for the last three chronicles, which I hope to share in the "About" section soon. I finally seem to be back on track!

~~~~2004 - The site is looking much better. I finally set up a section for the chronicles and I fixed all of the 24 February broken links on the siteI have also restarted my work on "The Shades of Mystics", after deciding to simply push forward and . look back laterof the first two books are updated to my desire as of right now. I hope to have some new story line . Most uploaded for you all sometime next week.
~~~~17 February 2004 - Well, the site is looking much better now, I would say. I converted all of the chronicles into web pages so anyone can open them. They are still the same primitive format, but at least you can open them now. Lets see... still working on getting all of my old data together. I really forgot a lot of the information surrounding the chronilces, as apposed to the actual chronicles themselves. I should be able to continue my work sometime this week.

~~~~24 October 2003 - I finally got all of the files in order to be printed. I am keeping all of the work off of the computer for a while in case I decide to give up again. I doubt that will ever happen again, however, for I am now seeing what a great story this is now that I am forced to pick it apart so carefully. I am impressed with my past writing talent, even though I was still young then. Perhaps I will be able to sort of rewrite "The Cobbler" once I have it all straightened out.
~~~~16 October 2003 - I must apologize for any and all errors in this version of the chronicles. I have no clue what kind of mess is in them, for I have only just begun to continue the project and I have lost all of my work since the beginning of the year, 2003. From what I have looked over, it looks like I was right in the middle of making “The Cobbler” into The Land of Mystics Chronicles. Originally I had only planned to make two books, “The Cobbler” and “The Darkness of Gandor”. As it turned out, “The Darkness of Gandor” became way too long and so, instead of trashing all of my ideas, I decided to write three books. This was a great idea until the various creatures of The Land of Mystics became a reality to me. It was then that I realized that I would need one chronicle for each Era. The rescued timeline is here. I’ll have more on all of this later. Let me get to work!

Rescued Work:

I was able to rescue a page from the old HUGE website. I found it on a disk just today. It is missing all of the awesome colors and background decorations, but it is a trip down memory lane for me! Access it here. This page is now incorporated into the new website. Access that via the "About" link above. I was also able to save the old timeline from "The Cobbler", you can access it here.
