Paul Goldschmidt Miguel Cabrera
This year's Hank Aaron Award Winners, Paul Goldschmidt and Miguel Cabrera
This award is dedicated to one of the greatest hitters in baseball history. Henry Louis "Hank" Aaron ranks first in career homeruns and is also third in hits, and first in walks. Thus, this award is presented to the best hitter in each league.

For its inaugural year, the winners were judged by whomever had the most total hits, homeruns, and RBIs. Now the award is voted on in part by fans at mlb.com to determine who takes the trophy.
