to be intertwined
to feel your heart beating
so strong against mine
to touch you in ways
that I have described
to read your emotions
by the look in your eyes
to watch your lips move
as you whisper to me
saying the words
that are hard to believe
the way that you smile
the light in your eyes

I treasure your time
My moments with you
they highlight my days
with thoughts of you
often no one can replace
a piece of my heart
beats only for you
