Look on me Love, With Starlit Eyes
Whose flames reflect mine own
Return each of my desp'rate sighs
Spent for thine ears alone
Reach but to greet my fond embrace
My heart match beat for beat
Turn to me thine angelic face
Which I, for Grace, entreat
Hide me away within thy breast
Deliver my Soul from pain
Say thou art mine! and I am blest
My spirit made whole again
But if my passion be not meet
Thy favour not be found
Then wrap me in a winding-sheet
And plant me 'neath the ground
