Indignant Life

i tire putting my hands upon my ears,
blocking out that dream in numerous memories,
that i continually drive thru each day,
beyond that sorry state, i awake bearing my own,
incoherent thoughts hanging on the phone,
polaroids and voices of people, whom i know not at all,
rest assured that my indignant life will make me see,
even though those whom i loved chose not to remember me,
i am a marionette hopelessly in love with you,
they'll drown in your eyes, i care not for them,
your smell, your hatred, your svelte body put me a tease,
the nites that you say you love me, the morning you leave as you please,
for how long i can have you, i care not, taint of breath upon my lips,
deprived of your love i canno longer breathe,
idle whisper to theatrical love, i opened my window,
trying to find a reason for all of this,
someone else holding your hand in the rain,
behind the floral sheets, i cried...lost my grip on reality,
i held you yet you told me of love and cried,
you told me of the feelings that you felt, many times over you have saved me,
loved me when the world shunned me, understood me healed thewounds,
taught me to love again, the day you sold me you stopped to care,
i lost all hope on life, ended of belief and hope,
i kissed every one of picture while holding a bottle of whisky,
i walked to places that we have been, the same crowds that we have passed,
where we have kissed, by the beach or at town,
in the park where i edged your name next to mine,
never have i prayed till now, i drew you as the angel that i saw,
the whisky doesn't make it better, it only makes me remember,
of the times we shared, of how i couldn't do anythingto gain your love,
you walked away as you strolled in, without a trace except for a burrowed hole in my heart,
i never stopped, no matter how drunk i was,
think about you, and in fact it hurt just as much.
