I Loved You
I Loved You
When I think of you, you're a memory faded.
A painful mistake, I hated.
I was young and unwise.
Insecure and blinded by your didguise.
To you, I was a new game.
Sometimes I wonder if you remember my name.
To me, you were a King.
Your lies were only the beginning of what you were to bring.
I was broken, and I blamed you for years.
Hated myself for wasting all those tears.
I forgave you and wept, as the love and hate died.
Still my heart was empty, alone in the darkness I cried.
Telling myself to be strong, I don't need a soul.
Crying over the heart that you stole.
