I Know I Do, I Know I Don't

Silence falls though it be brief
And sorrow pulls me away
Hurt at first you hear me weep
Again to end our day
How you long to know the thoughts
I've yet to understand
And offering one-thousand times
The ever pushed back hand
Dark and cold seems long the night
And chilled it is to touch
If you could give a hundred times
Would still be half as much
For love and passion; hate and furry
Make perfect the drink that robs our sleep
I know I do, I know I don't
Ah, draw a breath and take the leap
But Fear, Fear will not allow
So I lay lost where wall meets wall
And Tenderly you kiss my brow
My Love please know with all your heart
I will not give my love in part
But fully, one day will not dart
Behind confusion and show myself

My Love To You
