If You Would Only Understand

It was only one night,
Right after you and him got into a fight.
He needed someone to talk to,
And he told me how much heloves you.
We went out for a bite to eat,
And a few of your friends we did meet.
Your friends assumed he was cheating on you,
But none of that is true.
I never touched him once,
And he wouldn't want to ruin all of your months.
The next day at school,
Your friends told you, you were a fool.
You had no reason why,
But then you assumed what I told you was a lie.
You thought that his and my lips touched,
But that never happened because he loves you so much.
Just please understand,
That he is YOUR man.
