Frantic Mind
my lifes flown by.
broken dreams,
im afraid to fly.
a casual stroll,
a chase through the nite.
passionate cries,
brings endless fright.
lying awake, sleeping to death.
this cold driven world,
taunting your every breath.
accidents occur,
murder she claims.
they've all slipped away,
they've all gone insane.
a once-over glance,
a frantic search.
where have they gone,
where do they lurk.
a want to be free,
a need to let go.
where do they live,
nobody knows.
you desperately look,
for a moment of truth.
but you're looking all wrong,
they're inside of you.
