My top five bands are:

1.The OffspringThe Offspring are the ultimate punk rock band with classics such as Gotta get away, LAPD, Self Esteem, and the new hit Pretty fly for a white guy.

2.OasisOasis are probably the best group to come from this country in a long while, it's just a pity that their behaviour has meant that they are not well appreciated in other countries, especially the USA.

3.The Foo-FightersThe Foo's have recently said farewell to Pat Smear but that will hopefully not affect this top band too much. In my opinion the first album is still better than the second.

4.ReefReef have got into my top 5 through their second album, Glow which is a vast improvement on their first. The album just seems to have that mix of great tunes such as Place your hands and Consideration.

5. NirvanaNirvana are still considered the best for grunge, which is hard to argue with considering that smells like teen spirit was voted as the top song so far this millenium on a recent poll for radio 1.
