Whitfield, Benjamin R. -- Private - Enlisted as a private in Company L, Phillips' Legion Georgia Infantry April 5, 1862. Transferred to Company A, l8th Regiment Georgia Infantry, in exchange for Richard Johnson, in 1862. Wounded at 2nd Manassas, Virginia August 30, 1862. Captured while in hospital in 1862. Paroled at Richmond, Virginia in 1862. Discharged, disability, at Marietta, Georgia October 27, 1863. (Born in Georgia June 25, 1836.)

Whitfield, D. B. -- Private - April 1, 1861. Wounded in 1862. Surrendered, Appomattox, Virginia April 9, 1865.

Whitfield, William F. -- Private - April 1, 1861. Died of disease at Richmond, Virginia May 22, 1862.

Williams, J. N. -- Private - December 19, 1862. On detached duty at Marietta, Georgia January 30, 1865. No later record.

Winn, W. T. -- Private - April 1, 1861. Roll for December 13, 1864, shows he was discharged, over-age, date not given.

Wooten, W. J. -- Private - April 1, 1861. Deserted October 22, 1861.
