Chesapeake Skate Park

Skate park is located at Chesapeake City Park. Take
I-64 toward Chesapeake, Exit at Greenbrier Pkwy South, and travel approximately 2 miles. City Park is on the right.
Skate Park scheduled hours of operation are:
Apr 1 - Jun 16: M-F, 2-7 pm; Sa, 11a-7pm; Su, 12-7pm
Jun 17 - Sep 2: M-F,
10am-8pm; Sa, 10a-8p; Su, 12-8p
Sep 4 - Oct 27: M-F, 2-7 pm; Sa, 11a-7pm; Su, 12-7pm
I.D. cards and visitor passes must be purchased in advance of using the skate park at any Chesapeake community center. They are not available at the Skate Park. It is $5 for a one-day guest pass. The two of seven community centers which are closest to the skate park are: River Crest C C, (757) 436-3100, and Indian River C C, (757)424-4238. General hours of community center operation are M-F, 9-9; Sat, 10-5; closed Sun. Helmet, knee, and elbow pads are required. In-lines also need wrist
guards.
Curtis Memorial Park
Stafford, VA
This park is free. No pads required. No known phone #, but park is easy to find. From I-95, take
exit onto Rt17N towards Warrenton. This is the I-95exit between
Fredericksburg Rt3 and Stafford Rt1. Follow 17N for about 4-5
miles. You will see a sign for Curtis Park, telling you to take
your next right (at the light). Take this road for a few miles.
Curtis Park is on the right.
Catoctin Skate and Bike Park

Haven't been here yet, but I did call and get hours, prices, and directions. They are as follows:
Price: under 17 - $4 over 17 - $5
(if not a Lounden resident add $1 to price)
Hours of operation are:
March thru June and Sept thru Nov: M-F: 4pm-9pm Sat and Sun: 11am-8pm
July thru August: M-F: 2pm-10pm Sat and Sun: 11am-8pm
Dec thru Feb: W-F: 4pm-8pm Sat and Sun: 11am-8pm.
Sat. and Sun. from 11am-1pm is reserved for kids 10 and under. Helmet, knee, and elbow pads required, though can be rented there for a small fee. Directions to the park are vague, but here is what I was given. From Rt66, take Rt15 north into Leesburg. Take a right onto Catoctin Circle, which should be the third stop light. Go down this street until you see the Jeep/Isuzu dealership. The skate park is the next right after this.

Laurel Skate Park

Directions from Fredericksburg: take I-95S, take exit 83-B(Parham Rd), take a right on Hungry
Rd (about 50 yards after crossing Rt1), go past the RR tracks and take a right on Hungry Springs Rd. Park is on the right.
Haven't been here, but I know it is free. You must wear helmets, elbow and knee pads,
wrist guards, and shirt/shoes. Also, the park is open to skateboards, in-lines, and bikes. The skate park is normally open:
M-F: 4pm-8pm (June 18-Sept 2 it stays open until 10pm)
Saturdays: 12pm-6pm
Sundays: 1pm-6pm

The big half-pipe has been taken down. The only thing remaining here is a 6'
half-pipe. There are plans to rebuild the skate park, and even bigger than before, but the date of this happening is unknown.
If you plan on skating here, you will need to call ahead, and arrange someone to
meet you at the half-pipe.

This is the largest indoor skate park
in the USA. Located inside Potomac Mills mall. You will need helmet/pads. Can rent them per session- helmet-$3 knee-$2 elbow-$2 All-$5. Also, you must sign a waiver. You will need your parents to sign if under 18 (they won't take a note).
