The next morning Danielle woke up to her room that she knew she would not be seeing in a long time. She looked at her clock.
"Oh shit! I need to call Jessica."
Danielle dialed her number.
"Hello? Hey Jess, it's me. Are you almost ready?" "Yeh" "Well, I am going to grab a shower." "Yeh" "Ok. see ya then!" "Bye"
Danielle hung up the phone and got a towel and washcloth. She took a quick shower and got out to get dressed in her AB&F shorts and shirt. She brushed her hair back and headed downstairs and got her purse and her bookbag which she was going to carry on the plane.
Then the doorbell rang. It was Jess. She came in and sat on the couch.
"So, is your mom ready Dani?"
"I hope, I need to go before I miss my flight!"
"Hey, thats ok with me. I dont want you to go!"
"Jess, you think I wanna go? I have no choice."
"GIRLS, I AM READY. LETS GO!" Dani's mom called up to them. They got up and headed to the car. The ride which usually took about 20 minutes, felt like 5 minutes to Dani and Jess. They talked the whole way about memories. When they got there, Danielle found out which gate she had to go to and all of them went to the gate.
"Mom, I am going to miss you soo much. I will call you when I get there."
"Jess, I promise I will call you as SOON as I get there. You know, about the "plane ride and the airport"." They both laughed.
LAST BOARDING CALL FOR FLIGHT 282 FOR TULSA, OKLAHOMA.
"Wow, I didn't even hear the first boarding call! Time flies by really fast."
"Well, I guess this is it. I am going to miss you so much Dani!" Jess said sadly.
"Girl, I told you I would call you as soon as I get there! I got to go before I miss my plane!"
Danielle hugged her mom and Jessica one more time before she went through the gate to board her plane. Before she ws out of sight by both Jess and her mom, she turned and waved goodbye. She had tears in her eyes, but didn't want to shed them. When she got on the plane, it was easy to find her seat because she was in first class.
"Ok, 5c" she said to herself. She was happy because it was a window seat. She loved sitting by the window because she would stare out the window the whole way. When she was settled in the seat, she got out her backpack and got out her Cd's and her cd player. She got out her Hanson cd and turned it to "Mmmbop." She just chilled after that, reclining in the seat.
The ride wasn't that long to her. Before she knew it, the lady was on the intercom welcoming the passengers to Tulsa, Oklahoma and thanking them for flying Delta. The flight was not that long. She had listened to a couple of Hanson cd's, ate and drank and she was refreshed. Danielle got all of her stuff together and got off the plane.

Danielle's mom had just dropped Jessica off at her house. Jessica went in her room and got out her box of pictures and things that reminded her of her an Danielle together. Jessica got a Hanson cd and popped it in her stereo. She flopped on her stomach on her bed and started looking at the things in the box. When she saw the most recent picture that she put in there, the one on her and Danielle at the Hanson concert, she started to cry. Jessica already missed Danielle. She turned over and stared at the stars on her ceiling. Then she had a thought in her head. She picked up the phone and dialed the number that Danielle gave her to her dad's house. She let it ring about 3 times until she heard
"Hey, you have reached Mike at 745-"
"Jessica hung up and phone and flopped back on the bed and continued to cry.She thought of all the good times that her and Danielle had together. Dani was her best friend since they were little and it was very hard for Jess to let her go.

When Danielle got out of the gate, she looked around to see if she saw her dad. She didn't see her dad and thought to herself that he was probably late, so she went to the Burger King in the airport and got something to eat. She ate quickly just incase her father was there looking for her. She finished her cheeseburger and gulped down her soda, grabbed her bookbag and purse and headed for the gate that she came through. She didn't see her dad. All of a sudden, she felt a heavy hand on her shoulder...
