Backpacking around the world

End October I started my backpacking adventure in Australia. I have organised my "around the world" trip together with the travelactive organisation. I am staying in australia for around 4 months and then visit New Zealand and the final stop over is in the States, California. I am planning to go to New Zealand around 5th february. Then California around march,where the sun is always shining. Ofcoure trying out all sorts of australian and NZ beer (XXXX, VB, Tooheys, Crown, Tui,) is on top of my list of things to do.

Places been so far:
Hong Kong (Kowloon), Syndey, Katoomba (Blue Mountains), Hunter Valley (Vineyard), Nundle (Dag Inn Sheep Farm), Singleton (Sundial), Tamworth (Golden Guitar), Bingara (Country village), Byron Bay & Nimbin, Surfers Paradise (Surfing) , Brisbane (Glasshouse Mountains), Mooloolaba, Hervey Bay, Fraser Island, Childers (Tomato picking), Bundaberg, Arlie Beach (Whitsunday Islands), Mission Beach, Cairns (diving), Cape Tribulation, Mount Isa, Normanton, Gulf/ Table lands, Tennant Creek (devil's Marbles), Alice Springs, King's Canyon, Ayers Rock, Adelaide, Mt Gambier, Halls Gap (Grampians), Cape Otway (12 Apostles), Great Ocean Road, Bells Beach, Anglesea, Torquay, Lorne (pub to pier crawl), Geelong, Melbourne (all suburbs Carlton, St Kilda, etc.), Phillip Island (penguins & koalas), Portsea (London Bridge Rock), Sorento, Yarra Valley (wine tasting), Healesville and then back to Sydney to New Zealand

New zealand places I have been worth mentioning: Christchurch, Queenstown (bungee), Dunedin, Kaikoura (dusky dolphins), Wellington, Taupo, Rotorua (thermal capital), Mt Maunganui, Auckland.

After 2 weeks went to the states for 10 days, saw a lot. Firstly california, LA (Venice beach, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Universal Studio) Secondly visitid the State Nevada where gambling is legal. Went to Las Vegas, lots of entertainment and neon. Thirdly visited Arizona, to go to the Grand Canyon the big ditch, 500km long and 300 meters deep. Excellent views and lots of Joshua Trees. Finally went to San Francisco and visited Fisherman's Warf, Alcatraz and hiked through Muir Woods. Now back home, Someren the place to be?!.
