Computer Literacy -- BCIS 1010College of Eastern Utah at MoabCourse Description This course uses the Microsoft Office 97 Suite (with Netscape Communicator) to teach students computer basics, Windows 95, word processing, data processing, spreadsheet, graphics, Internet, and E-mail skills. After completion of this course, students will be able to use the programs in the Microsoft Office Suite for business as well as personal use. Successful completion of this course is required for graduation from CEU. At the end of the course, students will be given the option of taking the CEU Computer Literacy exam. A passing grade on this exam is required for students planning to transfer to USU. 3 semester credit hours Prerequisites: No prerequisites required, although typing skills and some computer experience will be helpful.
