One of the top trails in Texas, this moderate hike in the High Chisos Mountains leads to some of the best views in Big Bend.

South Rim, Big Bend, 14.5 miles Loop
A varied and dramatic trail, past meadows and rugged peaks, to the high cliffs of the South Rim of the Chisos Mountains.

Guadalupe Peak, Guadalupe Mountains, 9 miles Out and back
The reward for this strenuous climb is attaining the summit of the highest mountain in Texas, 8,749-ft Guadalupe Peak.

McKittrick Canyon, Guadalupe Mountains, 7.5 miles Out and back
This stunning canyon, carved into the high cliffs of the Guadalupe range, has been called "the most beautiful spot in Texas".
