    The purpose of the 2024 Duty To God Pilgrimage is to provide a larger than life experience for our Scouts/Scouters while working on religious medals/awards or activities. Cost $ 429. Date: July 21- July 26, 2024. Text John Ryan at 817.939.5673 ...Scout or Scouter in good standing with the church, Registered BSA Boy Scouts Age 12 (parent discussion) on up have a long term camp experience, Scouters YPT (plus any other applicable YPT) and typical week long trip requirements. All attendees eligible to earn, Messenger of Peace, Philmont Duty To God Award PLUS St Paul Miki International activity patch, a Scouting religious award (Youth with counselors in their own church) and International Spirit Award. The Groom Cross
17 Stories Tall
  • Many miles away, one Scout sees a 7 foot by 3 foot wide white cross along the side of the road. Another Scout spots a cross on the other side of the road about a mile away. Suddenly, the Scouts keep spotting these crosses along our drive until we spot the biggest cross ... 17 stories high! What a thrill!

  • Walk thru the Indian Ceremonial Ring

  • World renowned Architects still cannot explain how the structure still stands, that the wood is not native to the Santa Fe area, etc

Our 2007 pilgrimage was recognized with the 2008 NCCS Award of Excellence! All attendees fill out an Exit Survey at the end of the trip and each group has rewarded our hard working staff with a 92% Excellent/Good rating. Our participants have given us these same high marks for our 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2021 trip. A Faith Journey fulfilling Duty to God requirements and Hosted By Philmont Training Center. The same staff, that has conducted prior trips, starts 1 year ahead of time to ensure all our impactful programs are ready to go departure day.
