Jan 1st - Dec 31st, 2004:
Michael Kneebone's USA Four Corners Tour
The Four Corners rules are simple, you have 21 days to ride your motorcycle to these four cities around the country; Blaine, Washington, Madawaska, Maine, Key West, Florida and San Ysidro, California. You may start in any one of the corners, any time of year that you want, taking any route you wish. Past data shows that the average rider books approximately 7,552 miles on the tour, but this figure does NOT include the distance from your home to the first corner and back. Expect a minimum of 8,500 miles round trip depending on your distance to the nearest corner. Plus, if you want to see more than countless miles of boring interstate highways, plan on adding another 1,000 miles or so to the basic route.

Marcus Dairy Cycle Sunday
Danbury, CT
Cycle Sunday at Marcus Dairy Cancelled Because of complaints registered by the Danbury Fair Mall, managed by Wilmorite Holdings, L.P., on behalf of its tenant stores and requirements imposed by the City of Danbury, we regret that the Cycle Sunday events scheduled for April 18th, July 11th and October 3rd 2004 are canceled. This would have been the 15th year for the event. Rather than allow motorcyclist’s to park in their overflow parking areas, the Mall chose last year to barricade their entrances. This caused more congestion and apparently resulted in a significant loss of business to the tenant stores.
It is not known at this time which of the mall stores complained. The major tenants at the mall are Filene’s, J.C. Penny’s, Lord and Taylor, Macy’s, and Sears. Complaints were also reported to Danbury police officers from Bed Bath and Beyond, Pier I, Sports Authority, and Strawberry’s. Last year because of these events we were able distribute in excess of $75,000 to the attached listed charities, many of which have seen a reduction in income due to the economy and government cut backs. Since its inception, this event has distributed close to $500,000. We urge you to make contributions to any of them in honor of the great American pastime of motorcycling. The Marcus Dairy Bar will remain open for business as usual, a motorcyclist’s destination since 1947.

Marble Falls, Texas
The Waltz Across Texas Rally is motorcycle scavenger hunt covering some of the most interesting roads in Texas. In years past riders have been sent to such places as Barney Smith's Toilet Seat Museum, the Alamo and Miss Hattie's Brothel Museum. The 2004 Waltz promises to live up to this tradition. Riders need to bring a healthy sense of humor along with their time management skills.

The United States Patriots M/C Michigan Chapter is sponsoring a ride to help raise money for Shalynne Trujillo, a 12 year old girl with autism, who lost her father on March 13, 2001 in a motorcycle accident. The money raised will be used to send Shalynne to a special summer camp. Though Shalynne will forever remain a mystery to all of us, the camp seems to evoke a pleasantness and relaxed demure in her that is rarely seen in a good number of austistic children. We intend to care for her as long as there remains one Brother of The United States Patriots M/C. We, the United States Patriots M/C, would like to thank you should you chose to participate and join in our efforts on this Run for Shalynne. For further information please email: uspmc@uspatriotsmc.com UPDATE: The run will begin and end at the American Legion Hall in Niles, Michigan. That would be just north of South Bend, Indiana across the state line. We anticipate a great turnout.

The Chicagoland Toys for Tots Parade has become one of the largest charitable traditions in Chicago. Chicagoland motorcyclists have joined forces with the United States Marines, to assist their Toys for Tots program. It is held on the first Sunday in December...rain, snow, or shine. There is only one rule to participate: You must bring a toy and deliver it on a motorcycle What unifies the thousands of volunteers is their heart felt mission to place a new toy in the hands of a child.
