Railroad Crossbuck Patrick Boys....
Using what might be the dining room of the house for their 3-rail empire, this 4 x 8 foot table top display has 3 loops of track.

The Patrick Boys have really made the most of this valuable real estate.

I wonder what Mom thinks?
Taking the same shot but from the other end, you might be able to find the 3 loops of track.

I was told by the younger Patrick that the Plasticville Fire Station is new.

The plan for the new 3-rail empire will have Plasticville 1950's style landscape and buildings while the other end of the new empire will be more prototypical landscaping.

It will be interesting to see this blending of styles.
Just in case you wonder what this picture was suppose to be, it is not the younger Patrick Boy. However, he did move rather carefully around the layout during my picture taking so he would get in the picture.

I want you to look at the radio tower in this picture. Patrick Senior, found two of these towers on Ebay and he had the winning bid.

They are made out of old, very old, erector set material. Every joint has a screw and nut. The wiring is the old cloth covered wire. The light socket at the top holds a #53 bulb.

The Patrick Boys will re-wire the towers and install hi-tech red lights at the top. Nice buy and 2 great pieces!
