We perfer to use Delta, we are familiar with their services and drop offs. However if you feel more comfertable with a airline you are familiar with and use often, thats fine also.
Certificate of Health: Any airline you use with request that you have the animal being shipped fully examed by a lisenced vet before it can enter the plane. Our dogs/pups are examed by a vet at "PetsMart", the total cost for a full exam is $49.00
Shipping Crate: The shipping crate must be "Air port Certified". The one shown above is the one we ship our pups/dogs in. It is "Air-port Certified", is bought at PetsMart and according to the size of the animal being shipped, the crate cost starts at $29.99 and is no more than $67.00 (TAX INCLUDED) We include water and feeding bowls. Feel free to click on the picture to varify prices or choose another.
Water & Feeding Needs: The night before your pup/dog is shipped we fill the water bowl with water and freeze it over night, that way the pup will have water pretty much throughout the flight. These bowls do not cost extra.
Weather and Flight Conditions: AirLines have special guidelines to go buy when it comes to shipping a animal. Delta usually stopps shipping in June, the weather gets to hot for the animal to be on the ground, in a crate, waiting for its connection to the next flight. However the area the animal is in on the plane (lugage area) is temperature controled and is air conditoned. Sometimes the Airline will let the breeder make the decision though.
Fling Options: There are two options when it comes to shipping. First Class Priority is $95.00 for a crate under 27 inches long and $204.00 for anything larger. Your second option, most common is Delta Dash.@ $167.00 This is a regular flight arrangment for a dog under 50lbs total with crate.
Health: Your pup/dog with be up to date on all his or her shots and will be free of worms. He /she will be bathed and feed the night before shippment.
