1.  The Andro I take is 100mg. There is a disclaimer on the bottle warning against taking it continuously for more than a month. Interestingly enough, there are only 30 capsules in a bottle...exactly a month's supply. I'd appreciate a response. Thanks.

Taking more of Andro will obviously increase your chances of side effects. These side effects very from person to person. The warning on the bottle states that they don't advise taking a month's supply continuously. This warning is not forced by the FDA but forced by the supplement's lawyers. Little is know about the supplement and it's side effects most people are taking a risk by taking too much Andro at a time, therefore sometimes leading to medical problems. This warning enforces the rule that "if you take too much it is not our fault what happens to you."

2.  I was going to start taking Andro today. I'm a 20 year old male. I'm taking creatine, but the gains from creatine are not evident any more, so I decided to give Andro a try. I was wondering if there are any early negative signs that I can look for? Have there been any tests done on males around my age that I can compare myself to? What are the major side effects to look for?

The problem with Andro is that not enough test have been done on the supplement to make sure of it's side effects. Therefore most of the side effects for long term use are not known. More test need to be done to make sure this supplement is safe. The side effects vary from person to person so see your doctor before taking Andro or any supplement. Andro might seem like some miracle cure, but don't be fooled by the adds. Talk to some people who take Andro and see actual results.

3.  Hi. My name is David and I'm a 6' 2" 235 l.b.s sophomore in high school. I play football and after reading your web page I am very interested in Andro. I would like to know if you recommend taking the product with my situation in athletics. I would like to have a very successful season this fall and I want to know if Andro will help me do this. I am very dedicated to the weight room and I'm very motivated to get bigger and stronger. If you think Andro is right for me let me know and I'm looking forward to hearing back. Thank you very much for your time and thank you again!

Your body naturally produces Androstenedione in small amounts. Androstenedione can also be found in meat and even some plants. Your body is the only thing that knows how much Andro you need. By putting Andro into you body you are giving it a surplus of Androstenedione. Studies have still not been concluded about Androstenedione and if it is effective. Taking Andro is a big risk, it is safer to wait for more studies to come out about this supplement before taking it. If you are considering Andro, consider this risk, and consult your doctor before taking Andro. I think the use of Androstenedione in high school sports gives player an unfair advantage over those who do not use it. It is these players that force the others to take it to stay competitive. I do not recommend Androstenedione in till further studies have been concluded.

Dear Andro Survey,

I have been taking Andro for 2 months. I have noticed little muscle mass gains, yet my weights have been going up. I eat healthy and think Andro actually works well. My friends just stopped due to this new survey. I am undecided on it. What do you think and why?

During this project many people have expressed their views on taking Androstenedione.  Out of the ones who did take it most said they noticed some muscle gain.  Then again, a lot of people who took the drug also said that they were high tempered more often by taking the drug.  Another said that they actually lost weight by taking the drug.

My opinion is that if you want to take the drug, know the side effects first and do some research on it.  Don't go to the promotion sites but the news sites, and stories on Andro. "better safe then sorry".

Dear Andro Survey,

Hello. My name is Zack and I am 15 years old. I wanted to ask you if I take the Andro, what side effects will it have on me (long term). One of my friends the same age takes it and so far it didn't have any effect on him. So I wanted to use it myself to get bigger for football but I don't want to use it unless I know it's safe. Please write back and let me know on what I should do. Thanks for you time and cooperation.

Side effects can include

- Temper

- Headaches

- Loss of muscle gain

- Forming of Breast

- Shrinking of the testicles

Lots of other side effects are not known and it depends on the person who's taking it.

Dear Andro Survey,

I have been taking androstenedine for about 56 days on a 4 week on one week off cycle. Recently I went and purchase dhea because the store i bought Andro from was out of stock. I was wondering if it was dangerous take the two in conjunction with one another or if it didn't matter. Any input on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the people who took our survey and were taking Androstenedione also took it with other drugs.  This is because some people might not be satisfied with Andro's results so they think if they take it with another drug, like Createne, it will enhance their muscles even more.  This is not necesarely true.  In fact you are probably dubbling your chances of side effects by taking the two drugs.  It is dangerous to take two drugs togeather because so little is know about it.  Remember, consult your doctor before taking any Andro Product.

My mother is fighting cancer and is very weak and somewhat brittle at this point. The doctors are not really giving us anything that helps.  You can see where I am leading to. I will like to buy some Andro just to try at this point since nothing else helps. The results seem so evident that we want to try getting her started on a small dosage to help her gain her strength back.

Please respond when you get a chance.

Androstenedione does not work enless combined with physical activity. If not combined with physical activity it does nothing (it will just go out in the urine). Androstenedione also may have different side effects on woman. Most of the people who use Androstenedione are Male therefore most of the studies focus on Male use of Androstenedione. Female use of the drug may cause some disturbing side effects. I would recommend talking to the doctor before making any rash decisions on your own. I would highly recommend talking to your doctor before giving your mother any kind of drug. Please respond back to me if you have any more questions.

LETTERS TO US

I really appreciate your very informative research on Androstenedione. Your perspective is very non bias and to the point! I am a 22 year old Graphic Design student in Washington State. I participate in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It is a form a combat wrestling. I, being a skinny kid all my life wanted to gain 10-15 pounds of muscle hoping to help out my strength and weight. I eat like a hoarse and have tried all the 3000 calorie shakes on the market. I heard about Androstenedione and looked it up on the internet and found nothing but praise........from manufactures and such. I found your page and all of it's resources and feel that I will hold off on my purchase of Androstenedione until I really go through all or most of the articles.

Thanks you and I commend you all for the hard work they have done!!

-Mike

Thanks for doing this survey. I'm using your results for a speech I'm doing in speech class. I'm a 21 year old college baseball player, and I'm strongly against Androstene. I don't think the press should focus on McGwire's supplement use when regarding his home run record, but I do believe that it is unfair in competition and should be banned by the NHL, NBA, and big league baseball, as it has been in the olympics, NFL, and all NCAA sports.

Hello, my name is Matt. I'm from North Carolina. I found your report on Andro very informative and reassuring. I just bought some AndroFuel, by TwinLab, tonight and was kind of worried that I had made a bad investment or wasted my money. I've heard all kinds or arguments found against Andro. I've heard that it will make your butt really fat, that it will shrink your "man-hood," shut off testosterone production, superbly increase muscle size, severely DECREASE muscle size, decrease body fat, make you very aroused, give you massive headaches, work miracles for your muscles, and that it's better than steroids with out the side affects, etc etc. I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow I found out that Andro could rotate my tires and change my oil! I sincerely appreciate your honesty. I think your report should be published. The only reason Andro is getting extreme reviews is simply because these nutrition "experts" have to make a living off of what they do. How can they make a buck by reporting just the facts, right? I trust you guys over them. After all, you're not in it for the money, just a good grade. That's great. Thanks a bunch :)!!

Sincerely,

Matt

To whom it may concern,

I recently read through your study of Androstenedione and am pleased that you have taken on the task to educate people about this substance. However, there are a few flaws that seriously affect the reports accuracy.

-Andro is not a steroid, cortico or anabolic. It is an androgen, just like testosterone, indicating it is a precursor. An anabolic steroid, like Stadol, promotes the production of testosterone.-As stated, Andro is a precursor, not hormonal in nature. Taking Andro will not necessarily increase serum testosterone levels, the body mustreceive a hormonal signal that the Andro should be converted to testosterone, otherwise it is converted into estradiol/conjugatedestrogen esthers.

It is important to note that Andro cannot be outlawed under current DEA authorizations. Only precursors to drugs that can be used in the lab can be regulated. As for items like Andro and DHEA, they cannot beregulated because they require biological reactions to be converted intotestosterone. Just thought you would appreciate the comment

Sincerely,
