Our Service Officer, Joe Reid Scott, is a retired Navy Captain, serving 35 years in Naval Aviation and with the Office of Naval Intelligence. He was formerly the Area Commander of all Naval Reserve Intelligence Units in Texas and Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Texas A & M, Commerce and the Naval War College, Newport, RI. He is also the Hopkins County Veterans Service Officer, certified by the Texas Veterans Commission and Accredited by the VA. His office is in the US Federal Building (Post Office), 320 Church St., Sulphur Springs, TX 75482 (handicap accessible). His computer is on line with the VA data base.
