The VFW is not only devoted to caring for its own, it is also very involved in community service work, both physical and financial. Education of the nation's youth is of deep concern to the VFW. We have one of the best scholarship programs in the United States. The "Voice of Democracy" is a speech writing, radio broadcast, program for high school students in the 10th thru 12th grades and is administered each year through out the US.
