Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1945

ELMER HUBERT WILLIAMS, 71, of Ranger, TX died Dec. 31, 1999, at a local nursing center. He was buried at Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Williams was born on March 4, 1928, in Ranger to Addie and Verdie Wilhelm Williams. He attended school in Ranger and he served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He married Mary Lee Baldree and she preceded him in death. He worked and lived in Victoria where he was a general repair- man and also had a fix-it shop for locksmith and rebuilt radios. He was a member of the First Christian Church. He was preceded in death by one brother Alwyn Joe Williams (RHS-1945). Survivors at the time of his death are a daughter, Cindy Turner of Mobile, AL; four brothers, Linden A. Williams (RHS-1943) of Cedar Creek Lake, Bobby G. Williams (RHS-1948) of Arlington, David L. Williams (RHS-1950) and Kenneth L. Williams (RHS-1950), both of Ranger; two sisters, Geneva Garbo (RHS-1939) and Ruth Williams (RHS-1953), both of Arlington; and two grandsons.
