Purpose:To provide care to needy children. $240 suggested annual donation per child. The Lithuanians of America is a non-profit organization for Lithuanian-Americans based in Kansas City. The purpose of the organization is to promote the Lithuanian culture through education, dance, and language. We have several events per year, including a Christmas party with Kucios table and Independence Day celebration. Membership is only $10 for a family or $7 for a single person. Purpose: to help underpriviledged small-size Lithuanian farmers in Siauliai-Kursenai area, Lithuania improve agricultural skills, learn free market techniques, and regain former self respect.
