A boy named Simon enters the elevator and goes to the basement of his apartment building. There he finds a magical train that is able to transform itself into different vehicles in order to travel to other worlds. Along the way he takes aboard other travelers such as Mr George T Passenger, his cat Melody, and a girl named Stella.
