Judi Evans, Paulina Cory McKinnon on ANOTHER WORLD, currently shares almost all of her life with three men...not including her little doggie Pupster. Herein, she shares her thoughts on the hot guys who make her one happy woman!
Paulina on Jake..."She understands him. She loves him. She knows that deep in his heart there is good. And Paulina tries to help Jake believe that." On new love interest Ian Rain (the role had yet to be cast at press time)... "Ian comes into the Jake and Paulina storyline to give the characters something to do. Jake and Paulina really didn't have a lot to do over the past year. And Ian comes to Bay City to throw a clog in the wheel." # |
On boyfriend Michael Luciano..."Well actually, we met about eight years ago. At that time, when I was on GUIDING LIGHT, I had a horse at Westwind Stables where Michael had a horse. He was in college at the time. He came up to me and introduced himself and we spoke for a little while. But that was it. We never saw each other again. Then last June, my girlfriend kind of forced me to go to this club that played disco music, and I really wasn't into disco music. But we went. And I see this guy...and he's really cute. I thought that we made eye contact a couple of times. Then it looked as if he was walking toward me to ask me to dance...but he went to the men's room instead. I finally got the nerve to ask him to dance. I tapped him on the shoulder and said, 'Do you want to dance?' and just walked to the dance floor and didn't wait for an answer. "And we're dancing on the dance floor...and I still didn't recognize him. He asked me my name, and I said, 'Judi,' and then he asked what my last name was, and I told him. And he said, 'Oh I know who you are!' and I said (not wanting to come across as if she was a daytime star), 'Oh really? From where?' (thinking that he knew her from her soap fame). It was the first and only time in my life that I've ever been remotely a jerk about it. And he's like, 'Oh, didn't you have a horse up in Westwind,' and I went, 'Yeah.' He said, 'You don't remember, do you?' I said, 'Ummmm...sure!' I didn't remember him, but he remembered me. "So I gave him my phone number. A month later we went out. ..and that was it. I love him so much. He is sweet and kind. He's completely trustworthy in an emotional way. I can trust him with any feeling and any thought. He's such a gentleman. He's bright and funny. We have all the same habits - even our bathroom habits are the same. I know that this may sound corny, but you know when you meet your soulmate and you know that's it forever. He is that soulmate. He is that man that I've been waiting for my entire life. "We're going to elope this year. I don't know when or where or how. He's taking care of that and is going to surprise me! I am truly happy!"
On co-star Tom Eplin..."Where do we begin? He's funny. He's a great actor. He always gives 100% no matter what. He keeps people laughing on the set, which is something that I enjoy too. One of the things that I love about Tom is that he's unpredictable and that he's always there. I love working with him."
