This was the only story from the second season to feature an on-screen appearance by Albert Reed as Dr. Barnes, who was in most of the first season episodes.

Although not seen anymore in the second season, Reed's character is mentioned in several other segments. It would appear to be a cost-cutting move on the part of Filmation, but the reason has never actually been explained.
