This is Sadlack's, at the corner of Hillsborough and Enterprise streets in Raleigh. Started as one of the first sub shops in town (which is still the main business) it has slowly morphed into a pub-like hangout for uncatagorizable denizens, many local musicians and artists amoung them. The crowds consist of students and professors from local colleges, professional business people, computer digerati, roofers, painters, musicians, artists, homeless people-- anyone and everyone. And they bring their dogs, and their kids during the day to hang out, maybe catch a live band on the patio, and partake in conversation of a myriad of subjects.
