Pangong Tso- frozen
Pangong Tso (13,980' or 4262 m) in the long winter's icy claws. Ladakh has about 60 kms of the 130 kms long and 4-6 kms wide salt lake. Tibet, China has the rest of it. Part of it in Tibet is known as Nyak (new) Tso (lake) and its water can be drunk.
