A Tower Temple
In medieval times there many temples like this were erected. They were temples and watch towers. The late sleeping and early rising temple priest served as the best watchman. This is the only example I had seen (in October, 1991) of such a temple actaually being built. In the Rupin Valley near the borderof Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal.
