The Sabbath (Shabbat)

A nondenominational view

Sabbath day on Saturday
Sabbath day on Sunday? (Catholic observance.)
Mellinium Sabbath
Sabbath for the Land
The Lord's Day (Sabbath)

Sabbath day set by the absence of manna.

Consider and study, without contention or quarrel,
comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
(2tim 2:7 2tim 2:15 1cor 2:13)

Proof that even for the New Testament Christian
the 7th day Sabbath rest still exists for us
to observe and keep:
(please give me time to assemble, the proof is there for those who study and consider)

Isn't it odd that most Christians follow 9 of 10 commandments?

Confessions about Sunday
Roman Catholics admit their Church changed the day
of rest, for which there is "no scriptural authority".
Protestants concur it isn't scriptural, yet
   follow the Roman Catholic Church's
changes in times and laws! (Dan 7:25)
The Law is spiritual? ! (Rom 7:14)

"Don't you find it odd that most Christians follow and
profess 9 out of 10 commandments?" !!!

The question above is the very question asked of me
that really made me begin to consider the Sabbath.

Sabbath day (the Seventh day):
Sabbath blessed, sanctified, hallowed (Gen 2:3Ex 20:11)
Sabbath of the Lord - (Lev. 23:3)
Sabbath the Lord's holy day (Isaiah 58:13)
Doing good on the Sabbath

Jesus was a legalist? !
In Websters Unabridged Dictionary ©1983 the word "legalist" has two definitions:

legalist: n.
   1) one who practices legalism. (legalism defined: 2) in theology, the doctrine of salvation by good works.)
   2) one who is skilled in law.

Jesus was skilled in the Law. That is the Law and Commandments of God. ___ This should clearly evident to both those who believe in the Oneness doctrine and Trinitarians.

As to the Oneness believers, who believe Jesus is God all-in-all from the beginning, then in this view, Jesus was the One who gave the commandments to Moses and the Israelites from the beginning, the Creator, Who rested on the seventhd day after the heavens and earth were created by Him. Therefore, if He was the One who instituted the Law, He would know it, and be skilled in it.
