A Pioneer is a person that goes before, preparing the way for others to  follow. A Third Avenue Missionary Baptist Church Pioneer is a member that has made significant contributions to the church and has been an example for others to follow as they follow Jesus Christ.

The following three members have remained members since uniting, their children are members and in some cases their grandchildren are members also.
