Aubrey Weekes is a program manager in the Environmental Programs Service, Office of Facilities Management, in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
Mr. Weekes began his VA career in December 2002 as Chief Environmental Management Services at Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany NY.
In 1982 Mr. Weekes separated from the US Navy as a lieutenant, Medical Service Corp to pursue a civilian career. He has since then held management positions in a number of major companies. He was Assistant Director and Director of Environmental Services in University Health System, San Antonio and Sodexho USA; Health Benefits Implementation Plan Projects Manager for Aetna US Healthcare and most recently Administrative Manager for BMC Software, where he provided policy and governance support in distribution issues throughout the company39s worldwide offices.
Mr. Weekes was born and raised in Nevis, West Indies. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and his MBA from Webster University. He currently is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Phoenix undergraduate business management program.
