The ASRL 2004 Winter Series starts Tuesday Nov,30 2004. We run practice races every monday night and points races on tuesday nights. All races have a 7:30 eastern start time with qualifying at 8:05. The ASRL has some of the cleanest, most controlled drivers online. The 2005 ASRL Nextel cup FULL season will start in february of 05. ASRL, you can't beat it!

(ASRL)Probowl took the pole and never looked back as he led 137 of the 158 laps at Rockingham North Carolina. (ASRL)H2 may have been the strongest contender, but some early loose conditions ruined his chances for a race win. MonopTN was another driver who looked fast enough to win, but he also found trouble early. (ASRL)Gatortail2 who has been looking strong lately found himself finishing nicely in 2nd, but he was 7.52 seconds behind Probowl. Beetlejuice would again drive his car to a top 5 finish in 3rd. Newcomer (ASRL)Darwal would bring his car home in 4th and Mr.consistantcy (ASRL)GMR3 would round out the top 5. Probowl had lapped ALL but the 2nd and 3rd place cars by race end. All in all, it was a clean race with only 5 caution flags being thrown for a total of 16 laps. There were 12 lead changes among 6 different drivers. The ASRL travels to Las Vegas Next week for the UAW-Daimler Chrysler 400.

Winter Series Race 3: Probowl Dominates again!

Probowl entered Las Vegas feeling confident after winning Rockingham, and having what he felt was a pretty good car. Several drivers such as gatortail2, MonopTN, H2, and Beetlejuice were showing good speeds during practice, but probowl won the pole and would lead lap one. Probowl was going to set an easy pace the first part of the race and then blister the track in the later stages....he did. (ASRL)H2 led a few laps and looked to have at least a 2nd place car, but he and several others would get cought a lap down after making green flag pitstops due to an unfortunate caution on the track. H2 would finish on the lead lap but only just ahead of the race winner Probowl. Beetlejuice would have a nice finish in 2nd 8.91 seconds behind probowl. MonopTN finished nicely in 3rd position with rookie driver (ASRL)Darwal coming in 4th and Mr.consistantcy (ASRL)GMR3 rounding out the top 5. The points race after 3 races is very close with Probowl and Beetlejuice tied for 1st and several others less than 100 points out. The race went very quickly and was very cleanly run by all drivers. There were only 2 cautions for 7 laps. The ASRL travels to Atlanta Motor Speedway next week which is perhaps the fastest track on the circuit.
