This #30 is Norm McCarthy from Bedford, Ohio. Norm was a veteran driver
who started by running roadsters at the Berea Fairgrounds in 1946 and
raced at Sportsman Park during the 1950's. He's in the HOT seat in this

The #69 Fairlane is driven by Jeep Iacobucci, a former track champion at
Cloverleaf. The car was owned by Blackie Joseph, who owned Chieftain
Trucking and was wrenched by Charlie Birdwell and Bobby Giachetti. Jeep
was a good driver and a great guy to be around. He spends his time these
days cruising in his 48 Mercury. (Foose Files)
The #32 57 Chevy was driven by Bob Terlop and owned by Ed Rowe and Denny
Hudock. This was a "Hurricane Hardtop" division car and always a
top runner. Bob won 6 features at Painesville and 1 feature at Cloverleaf
in 1969 and also held the one lap qualifying record at Painesville. Ken
Carpenter bought this car after the season. It was powered by a 292 Chevy
6 cylinder engine built by AutoMotion. This car was very successful.
