Hook Leader

This is what the hook leader with the 'pig-tail' swivel looks like. The hook is an 18/0 Tuna Circle from Mustad. This photo is much smaller than actual size. Ulua have huge mouths, and big, strong hooks are mandatory. If you look closely to the pig-tail, you might be able to figure out how it twists onto the main line. Although the pig-tails are available in local stores, most fisherman who have been slide-baiting for a while learn how to make their own.
