Biography
Dr. Frank D. Caffaratti was born in Orville, California, coming to Reno in 1969. He attended area schools, graduating from Sparks High School in 1973. He received his Bachelors of Science, M.S. degree from the University of Nevada Reno in 1978. In 1981 he graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, San Francisco, California, earning his degree as Doctor of Dental Surgery. He returned to Sparks to open his private practice in General Dentistry that same year.
Dr. Caffaratti is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association and the Northern Nevada Dental Association. Other memberships include the Better Business Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce for the City of Sparks.
His attendance in local meetings allows him access to many guest speakers, further increasing his knowledge in many facets of Dentistry. He is also active in obtaining continuing education that keeps him and his staff on the cutting edge of the latest technologies including implants, tissue laser and cosmetic dentistry.
Personal interests include spending time with his daughter Melissa and his dogs Babe, Jack and Sam. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, trap shooting, skiing, riding motorcycles and the outdoors. He is an ardent fan and supporter of our local Wolfpack football team.
