Warriors versus Foothill (Bakersfield)
The Warriors lead the overall series that dates back to 2000 by an 11 to 1 margin. Tehachapi resumed play against the Trojans in 2012 and 2013 as a members of the Southeast Yosemite League. The Warriors moved out of the SYL in 2014 and continued to play Foothill in non league games
Previously, Tehachapi defeated Foothill in Tehachapi in both 2007 and 2009 in Central Section Division III playoff games. The 2007 contest was for a valley championship.
Foothill High School opened its doors in 1962 and is located on the east side of Bakersfield.
The school has a student population of 2,000 students (2012).
