...We would like to congratulate former Guildsman
Gavin Spencer and wife Mel on their "newish" baby
properly named Owen (I think the kids 5 now,
appologies for the lateness of the news) We would also

>>>>>Old but note worthy news.....
Commander Spaceley played Landing Pad IV in
Phillidelphia back in October. Playing his Casio DG-20
electronic guitar/midi controller through his Roland
JX-305 he joined stage ranks with former Guild
Navigators "Digger" Doug now of Scattered Planets and
Tom "TCB Hit Squad" Gilliam. They Co-Headlined with
Famous former Hawkwind frontman Nik Turner. Nik was backed by Spaceseed from the outer galactic rim of Georgia. Spaceley and Scattered Planets also shared
the bill with Cotton Casino (from Acid Mother
Temple)on space-theramin and Billawtm on Acid Guitar
with their band. Opening the set was the cave dwelling
garage noise unit called Sub-Primitive with famous
space rocker (and former Scattered Planets member)Bob
Lennon on Guitarcheology and lead cavman howls.
On a final note Freak Spacely was featured on a Scattered Planets cover of Chrome's "New Age" that is out on a new tribute. This was released by Aktivator Records back in Dec. This is Charlse Vander Kree's label that carries his absolutley fabulous hardcore space rock band Jet Jaguar. The CD's are currently Out Of Print.
