STUART FELL CONFIRMED FOR DOCTOR WHO DAY 3
Doctor Who stuntman and actor Stuart Fell has now confirmed his appearance at
the
Doctor Who Day 3 event on the 10th March. Stuart will be making his first
convention
appearance for over ten years and the DWACC is thrilled to have him along to
entertain
people with his juggling and jesting (he now works as Taro
The Jester).
See the DWACC
events website for full details.

The DWACC @ 5 event on the 8th October
was a great success, with Lisa Bowerman
and Steve Gallagher proving to be great guests, as well as really nice people.

DWACC 5th BIRTHDAY EVENT, SUNDAY 8th October
Several people have asked for details on how to find Darwen Cricket Club for the
DWACC @ 5
birthday event this Sunday so I have looked it up on multimap.com. Just click on
the link below.

The club is on Mostyn Street, right at
the very end as far as you can go. It is about a quarter of a
mile south of the M65 Darwen junction.

LISA BOWERMAN BECOMES CLUB PATRON!
Sadly, due to work commitments, Dee Sadler has had to step down as club patron,
but it is with great pleasure that I can announce that Lisa Bowerman has agreed
to become
the new patron. Lisa, of course, played Karra in the final Seventh Doctor
adventure Survival in
1989, and plays Bernice Summerfield in the Big Finish audio dramas. She will
officially replace
Dee at the DWACC @ 5 birthday event on the 8th October at Darwen Cricket Club.
9.9.2006 update ...
Sorry about the lack of updates on the site - I have been without internet
access for five
weeks. Very frustrating! The charity auction was another success and £365 was
raised
for Asthma UK. It is hoped that a cheque will be presented to a representative
of the charity
at the special DWACC 5th birthday bash which is still all set for the 8th
October.

Sadler
and Steve Gallagher, writer of Warriors' Gate and Terminus. The

supper (in the afternoon!). If you would like to come along but are not a member
you will need to join first

DWACC 5TH BIRTHDAY PLANS
The DWACC will be five years old in October. Amazing, but true! Plans
are underway
to hold a get together of club members to celebrate the event. It will be a good
chance to meet
other members, have a chat with them, swap stories and autographs, and generally
have a good
afternoon. It is hoped there will be a couple of guests there too, although the
event won't be a convention.
DWACC Patron, Dee Sadler (Flowerchild in The Greatest Show in the Galaxy),
has agreed to
attend and thinks it's a "fab idea"!
More details soon of the venue and date
and how much it will cost (hopefully no more than a
fiver for club members).
