WELCOME!
Thank-you for logging onto the new look
website of the Doctor Who Autograph Collectors Club.
Collecting the autographs of your favourite Who stars can
be a relatively inexpensive but highly rewarding and enjoyable past-time. Many
stars of the show - Doctor's, companions, guest stars and right the way down to
walk-ons and extras - are all happy to sign through the post, especially if you
send them something to sign and supply them with a stamped addressed envelope to
cover the return postage, and, of course, there are many opportunities to meet
in person some of the stars at conventions and signings up and down the country.
Seeing your favourite autographed photos framed on a wall or displayed in an
album can be very satisfying - and a great talking point with your
friends!
ABOUT THE CLUB
The Doctor Who Autograph Collectors Club
was formed in October 2001. As far as I am aware it is the first club of its
kind dedicated to this enjoyable hobby.
The aim of the club is to try to bring together in one place all
those with an interest in collecting autographs within Doctor Who fandom,
whether they be those of Doctor’s, companions or guest stars, or signed
photographs, books, CD’s, videos etc, to discuss and promote any and every
aspect of this fun pastime, and maybe make a few friends along the way.
Input from members is vital to help the club grow. Feel free to send in news and
features, addresses and autograph stories for the newsletter.
Work will be ongoing to improve this website which now includes scans members
star autographs.
The club has raised over £2,500 for the Asthma UK with its
charity autograph auctions
since 2002..
Feel free to contact me about any aspect of the club (SAE for reply please),
sign the guest book or leave or reply to messages on the message board.
