STARFLEET REORGANISATION
IN TIME OF UNCERTAINTY

Stardate: 54721.71.

Starbase Trinity Core remains under Breen control, with little or no move by Starfleet to redress the situation. This comes at a time when the Federation Council is urging for caution in the light of possible breach of Starfleet's Rules of Engagement by certain high ranking officers. All investigations will be kept out of the public eye until satisfactory conclusions are made by the Council's newly formed Overview and Scrutiny Committee, led by Iago Salvador. The Committee will liaise with the Judge Advocate General Corps, directed by Retired Lieutenant General Brand, newly appointed in the absence of Vice Admiral Quantera.

This action is not supported by the entirety of Starfleet, however.
Admiral Rocastle, of the 7th Fleet, spoke out recently against the idea, stating that they were making "villans out of heroes", comparing it to
"an old-fashioned witch hunt". Others believe it is too soon for a more
"softly, softly approach" and that the drop in activity from the Valkurak Alliance should not lead to a more passive stance. Rocastle is one of many voices calling for the retake of Trinity Core, though the majority of Starfleet and the Federation Council are still holding off for other options to present themselves.
