Truth in Action throughout OBADIAH

TRUTH that Obadiah teaches ACTION that Obadiah invites
1. Steps toward knowing GOD and His ways
GOD hates pride. It's pride that believes we are invulnerable and places our trust in someone who isn't GOD. He will humble those who exalt themselves in this way.
verse 4
Exalt GOD. Glorify Him for the security and the success that you enjoy.

verse 15
Refuse to judge others, knowing that all judgment or criticism that you pronounce against others can turn against you. Don't rejoice in the judgment that affects other people.

2. Instructions for growing in piety
The pious person doesn't rejoice in the destruction of GOD's people, but like GOD, seeks their reconciliation with the LORD and their restoration. Avoid pride and the deception that it produces in human hearts.
verse 3
Ask GOD to reveal to you any of your heart which pride has usurped.

verse 12
Accept reconciliation and restoration that come by way of repentance.
