TRUTH that Acts teaches

ACTION that Acts invites

1. Steps toward knowing GOD and his ways
The knowledge of GOD must be passed from generation to generation, instructing our children about the character, nature and ways of the LORD. Thus educated, they will be in a position to achieve a more profound knowledge of GOD, whether in the midst of adversity or revival. This comprehension helps them to avoid the seduction of the flesh or demonic forces, and makes it possible to adjust our priorities to the divine purpose.
1:3
Instruct your children in the provision and admonition of GOD. Be an example that your children can follow in order to know the LORD and walk with Him.

2:28,29
Gladly receive the Holy Spirit, through which GOD brings his purposes to pass in this world. Be renewed by the pouring of the Holy Spirit upon you.

2:30,31
Believe that signs, miracles and wonders are an inseparable part of GOD's eternal nature, and the way that He manifests himself.

2. Steps toward receiving GOD's grace
Receiving GOD's grace is neither complicated nor difficult. It only requires accepting that GOD is able and desires to save us, and the decision to humbly call upon his name. The LORD is ready to be our Savior. The decision is ours.
2:32
Decide to call upon the name of Jesus to obtain deliverance. Recognize that "invoking his name" involves inviting Him to act as Savior and Liberator in every aspect and moment of your life, not only the initial experience of your new birth.
3. Steps toward confronting collective sin
Joel's prophecies explain how a people should confront collective sin. His prophetic warnings and his exhortations are basically directed toward spiritual leaders. First, he calls them to repent whole-heartedly and then to confront the sins of the people. The collective fast and the solemn assemblies in which they cry out to the LORD are some of the things which Joel recommends to confront collective sin.
1:13
Understand that the sin of GOD'e people is serious and demands repentance and true sorrow on the part of the spiritual leaders.

2:1
Warn GOD's people of the consequences of sin.

1:14
Teach the Church to collectively repent of their sins. Proclaim a collective repentance and solemn assembly to identify sin and pray for the restoration of the Church.

2:12-14Repent at once and with sorrow when sin is found in you. Confess it and allow GOD to work in your heart. Turn continually to GOD and place your sorrows and problems in his hands in the trust that he will do his will.

2:15-17
Cry for a renewal. Unite the church leaders in fasting and prayer.

3:21
Don't forget that there is no sin that the blood of Christ can't expiate.
